Arlene Dunkley-Wood has been a birth educator for over 26 years.  She trained at the Active Birth Centre and qualified as a birth educator and yoga specialist in pre and postnatal yoga in 1993.  She continues to work with women and is also a birth doula, massage Therapist, Craniosacral Therapist, Counsellor, Mizan Practitioner, Yoga Teacher and Pilates Teacher.  She is passionate around the subject of women autonomy in the birth arena and that passion she carried through in all her work with women.  She is also a Beekeeper and at weekends runs a stall at farmers markets in London, selling honey and gluten free cakes.

Arlene was born in the East End of London and birthed her three children at home in Clapton during the late 80s and early 90s.  She teaches in Canary Wharf and in Waltham Forest.
